We are looking for an Information and Systems Manager for a new, exciting role at PDT

We reacted to the challenges of the last couple of years by cultivating this PDT Experience to become stronger, more focused, and more flexible, and our ability and enthusiasm to embrace and celebrate the use of technology has been a factor in our recent success.  

As part of this process, we implemented a new Content Management System ‘LEAP’ in April 2021, which has provided us with time saving benefits and automated processes to help deliver a better service to our clients. This improvement in technology has also inspired us as a firm to look at ways to fully utilise the system, improve our bank of precedent documents and templates, improve our enquiry process, develop our management reporting and link with our marketing lists and a new CRM system.

We are looking for a strategic thinker and problem solver to join PDT to help drive our usage of technology, initially for the development of the LEAP system, and then to look at how we can implement further technology to benefit the firm.

You will work alongside the Marketing Director to become the LEAP champion, working with all departments across the business to understand their requirements, bring together ideas, troubleshoot and find solutions, implement new initiatives and ensure consistency of use throughout the firm. 

You will find senior management and Partners supportive and enthusiastic about the usage of technology and the benefits it can bring the firm. We are excited about the possibilities of utilising technology going forward and looking for someone who can join us in championing fresh ideas and making technology work the best it can for us all.

The primary focus of this position is to:


  • Take ownership of the long-term content management system strategy across the organisation;

  • Work with all departments across the business to understand their requirements from a data and information perspective;

  • Provide insightful information to senior leaders;

  • Work with our external support partners to make sure our IT and systems infrastructure is fit for purpose;

  • Monitor compliance with information security policies and standards;

  • Assist in developing and updating Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions, for operations and maintenance of ICT Systems;

  • Assist in developing resilience and disaster recovery plans related to existing and new ICT Systems;

  • Research, analyse and evaluate new technologies and makes recommendations for their deployment;

  • Provide a source of relevant professional expertise to support management decision making through provision of information and expert advice

Desired Qualifications and Skills


How you approach your work is an important factor we consider when recruiting at PDT. An integral part of this role will involve liaising with people internally and externally, therefore, an ability to build and maintain positive relationships is a must. A high degree of attention to detail, high level of IT skills and the ability to multitask and manage complex projects in a deadline driven environment will also be required.

  • LEAP experience (advantage but not required. Training will be provided)

  • JavaScript experience (advantage but not required)

  • Proficient in IT systems terminology

  • Excellent working knowledge of Office 365 with a high level of competence in Microsoft Word.

  • Strong data analysis skills – ability to manage data integration and ensure consistent data quality; experience of working with large data sets.

  • Experience of CRM system management.

  • Experience of supplier management, undertaking performance evaluations and ensuring that suppliers deliver
