Summer Placement Programme

We have developed a two-week summer placement scheme which will take place in July/August each year. During your placement, you will undertake specific fee earning tasks within our core divisions: Real Estate, Company Commercial, Dispute Resolution and Employment. You will be part of our enthusiastic team with a wide-ranging workload. You will have the opportunity to attend a feedback session where together we will reflect on your experience over your two weeks with us. We will also answer any questions you may have about training to be a lawyer.   You will have opportunities to network and expand your skills and you will be invited to a lunch with the PDT Future Leaders during your placement.

The application process for the 2023 is now closed. The summer placement programme for 2024 will reopen in January 2024.

 

Who should apply

 

You will either be undertaking your degree or Legal Practice Course, be self-motivated, able to demonstrate initiative and be a creative and innovative problem solver. In addition, you should be able to demonstrate a high level of literacy and numeracy, be confident in using IT systems, have good interpersonal skills and possess an interest in commercial business generally.

Applications will be considered in April of the relevant year with placements being awarded the last week of April.
