The Recruitment Process

Types of Work

PDT is divided into four core divisions: Real Estate, Company Commercial, Dispute Resolution and Employment. These divisions include several niche sectors allowing trainees to gain a similarly broad range of experience before deciding upon their preferred area of law.

Training Programme

As a trainee solicitor within the firm you will be part of an enthusiastic team with a wide-ranging workload completing four different seats rotating between our Company Commercial, Real Estate and Dispute Resolution teams. We believe in your ability to have control over your own career path and to have an open, flexible and two-way review and appraisal process. Personal and professional training opportunities are regularly available to support you to achieve your career aspirations. We make an effort to make every member of staff feel like they are a valued member of the team and provide a close support network.

Additional Opportunities

You also have opportunities to network and expand your skills by becoming part of a number of PDT forums such as our Future Leader’s Young Professionals group, Trainee Solicitors group and Marketing and Networking group. Every forum mentioned above organises regular networking and social events to support trainees in increasing their confidence and to grow their professional network.
