Job Title: Commercial Litigation Legal Secretary
Location: Horsham
Hours: Full Time, 9.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday (1 hour for lunch)

We are Seeking to recruit a Legal Secretary for our successful Commercial Dispute Resolution department
The role will involve providing a full administrative and executive support function. You will have technical and administrative experience gained in a legal environment. You would have the ability to produce a variety of forms and documents for clients and third parties, extracting the information required from the case file.
A successful candidate will have ideally performed similar duties within a law firm. You will need to possess excellent typing skills coupled with extensive IT skills (all Microsoft application including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook). Any legal experience will be highly desirable.

Key responsibilities:

Support fee earners

Keeping records up to date including using a case management system

Audio typing including letters, emails and legal documents (Digital dictation - Big Hand)

Preparing Court bundles
-
Dealing with queries from clients, agents, clerks and other solicitors
-
Ensuring that compliance rules are followed including managing anti-money laundering documentation
-
Opening new files and dealing with engagement and scoping letters

Answering the telephone
-
Organising diaries
-
Making appointments with clients
-
Dealing with payments to and from the Client account and balancing ledgers

Covering reception when required and dealing with post
